Seoul: Cho Hyun, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea, met with Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, Minister of External Affairs of the Republic of India, to discuss strengthening the relationship between the two nations.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting focused on enhancing cooperation in various areas, particularly economic security, supply chains, core technologies, and the defense industry. The ministers expressed a mutual commitment to advancing these sectors as part of their efforts to deepen bilateral relations.
The discussions also highlighted a shared intention to elevate bilateral ties to a new level, marking a decade of the special strategic partnership between South Korea and India. Both ministers underscored the importance of this partnership as they explored new avenues for collaboration.
