Mogadishu: Baashe Yusuf Ahmed, Chief Justice of the Federal Republic of Somalia, received a high-level delegation from the Egyptian Ministry of Justice and Legal Affairs. The discussions focused on enhancing cooperation between the two countries in areas such as training, experience exchange, and judicial modernisation.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Baashe emphasised the deep-rooted and longstanding relationship between Somalia and Egypt, expressing commitment to collaborative efforts aimed at developing and enhancing the judicial systems of both countries. He noted that both countries would engage in ongoing exchanges of training and expertise.
The Egyptian judiciary officials highlighted the progress of Somalia's judicial institutions and reiterated their readiness to promote and enhance justice and legal frameworks in both countries.
