Social Development Ministry to Organise ‘Summer of Craft and Innovation’ Exhibition

Manama: The Ministry of Social Development will host the 'Summer of Craft and Innovation' exhibition, which will take place from July 26-28 at the Capital Mall for Bahraini-made products. This is part of the Ministry's ongoing efforts to support national projects and to strengthen the role of the sustainable social economy in development.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Enas Mohammed Al Majid, Assistant Undersecretary for Community Development, emphasised that organising the exhibition forms part of the Ministry's continued efforts to support Bahraini artisans and productive families by enhancing marketing platforms that enable them to showcase their products and strengthen their presence in the local market. This not only promotes the sustainability of their projects but also contributes to supporting the community economy.

This highlights the exhibition's focus on innovation in handicrafts, supporting community entrepreneurship and developing artisans' skills in ways that keep up with market changes and meet new demands using modern, sustainable approaches.

The Ministry of Social Development invited the public to visit the exhibition, which opens its doors from 10 am to 8 pm over three days, with the participation of a group of Bahraini artisans presenting their products in an interactive environment aimed at further promoting support for local products and national crafts.
