Sanabis: The Ministry of Social Development has introduced "Al Ayadi Al Bahrainia" store, which displays products crafted by productive families, at the Mubarak bin Jassim Kanoo Comprehensive Social Centre in Sanabis.
According to Bahrain News Agency, this initiative is part of the ministry's broader strategy to support productive Bahraini families. The aim is to enhance their role in the national economy by providing sustainable marketing platforms that improve consumer access, product quality, and project management.
Enas Mohammed Al Majed, Assistant Undersecretary for Community Development at the ministry, highlighted that this new store is intended to complement existing outlets, such as the Ministry's Capital Mall. The store aims to showcase local creativity, build confidence in Bahraini products, and promote values of innovation and productivity.
Al Majed mentioned that specific areas within the centre have been designated for the display and marketing of products made by productive families. This effort aligns with Bahrain's commitment to fostering community entrepreneurship and encouraging self-employment innovation.
She reiterated the ministry's dedication to empowering productive families through various programmes. These programmes aim to enhance home-based and traditional industries, improve quality standards, and increase competitiveness in both local and international markets.
