Social Development Ministry Introduces Online Physiotherapy and Financial Services for Disabled Children

Manama: The Ministry of Social Development, in collaboration with the Information and eGovernment Authority (iGA), has announced the launch of new online services, including physiotherapy for children with disabilities and financial service attestations via the national portal, bahrain.bh.

According to Bahrain News Agency, this initiative is part of a broader effort to provide comprehensive social services to individuals with disabilities. The newly introduced services allow beneficiaries to apply electronically for disability allowances and social security attestations. Additionally, they can request physiotherapy services for children with disabilities through the eKey system on the national portal. The services also include a feature to verify financial attestations using a QR Code.

The ministry emphasized that these eServices are a step towards digital transformation, aimed at enhancing the efficiency and accessibility of social security and financial support services in Bahrain. By ensuring fast and easy access to these services, the initiative seeks to improve the overall user experience.

The Ministry of Social Development reiterated its commitment to evolving its services in line with global best practices and fostering collaborations with both government and private sectors to advance the development of services for persons with disabilities.

For more information or inquiries about these services, the ministry encourages individuals to contact the Government Services Contact Centre at 80008001 or use the National Suggestions and Complaints System, 'Tawasul', to submit feedback or suggestions.
