Manama: Osama bin Saleh Al Alawi, Minister of Social Development, received Baroness Patricia Scotland, Member of the House of Lords of the United Kingdom and former Secretary-General of the Commonwealth. The meeting focused on discussing the strengthening of cooperation in social development and community protection between Bahrain and the UK.
According to Bahrain News Agency, both sides emphasized the importance of sharing expertise to support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals. The discussions also highlighted the significance of maintaining ongoing communication to enhance developmental and social initiatives, aiming to foster more inclusive and sustainable societies.
