Manama:The Minister of Social Development and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Family Microfinance House, Osama bin Saleh Al Alawi, chaired the third board meeting of 2026.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Alawi emphasized the significance of enhancing microfinance services to aid Bahraini families and small business owners in growing their enterprises and ensuring financial sustainability.
The board evaluated the financial and administrative performance of the Family Microfinance House, along with updates from the Audit, Risk, and Corporate Governance Committee. Additionally, discussions were held on strategies to boost financial and administrative efficiency, improve risk management, and strengthen governance.
