Manama: Osama bin Saleh Al Alawi, Minister of Social Development, inaugurated the "Bahraini Hands" exhibition at The Avenues Mall, with the participation of 20 productive families. Minister Al Alawi highlighted the ministry's commitment to empowering productive families and supporting their projects through initiatives and programmes designed to serve this sector, while providing the infrastructure needed to expand their presence in the market.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Minister Al Alawi noted that the exhibition, organised by the ministry in cooperation with the Bahrain Small and Medium Enterprises Society (SMES), contributes to supporting projects with tangible economic and social impact. He added that the products on display reflect Bahrain's identity and highlight the authenticity of its heritage with a modern touch.
Ahmed Sabah Al Salloom, Chairman of the SMES, underlined the importance of cooperation between all stakeholders and civil society in supporting national projects, particularly those owned by small and medium-sized enterprises, to advance their growth, enhance their presence in the local market, and enable them to achieve economic sustainability.
The "Bahraini Hands" exhibition will run from September 25-27, from 10 am to 10 pm daily.
