President of the Survey and Land Registration Bureau (SLRB), Shaikh Salman bin Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Chief Executive of the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA), received Head of the United Kingdom’s Hydrographic Office (UKHO), Rear Admiral Rhett Hatcher.
Shaikh Salman bin Abdullah congratulated him on his appointment to the key post in one of the most prestigious institutions specializing in marine surveys in the world. He pointed out the long-standing relations between SLRB and UKHO which span for more than 22 years of joint cooperation, stressing the capabilities and competence of UKHO. He stressed the importance of the agreement signed by both sides, which is renewed every five years, in further promoting cooperation.
For his part, Rear Admiral Rhett Hatcher praised Bahrain’s advanced capabilities in marine survey and its production of navigational maps and accurate data accredited worldwide. He also lauded constructive cooperation between UKHO and SLRB, thanking Shaikh Salman bin Abdullah Al Khalifa for the gracious welcome and hospitality.
