Manama: Basem bin Yaqoub Al Hamar, President of the Survey and Land Registration Bureau (SLRB), underscored that digital transformation in government real estate services reflects the government’s commitment to supporting this key sector under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the continued support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Hamar highlighted the launch of an e-service for private notaries to streamline property sales, following Cabinet approval, as a significant step in advancing digitalisation. He noted that this initiative, introduced by the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs, and Endowments, aims to enhance efficiency, accelerate transactions, and promote sustainability in the real estate sector.
Al Hamar emphasised that integrating government entities through electronic systems will ensure faster, more efficient transactions, bolstering Bahrain’s competitiveness as an investment destination. He said that the new e-service reduces processing time, allowing private notaries to complete property sale documentation within minutes, without requiring in-person visits.
The service also features video verification for authentication, ensuring security and accessibility for users both in Bahrain and abroad, marking a major advancement in real estate government services.
