SLRB President Highlights Cityscape Bahrain 2025 as Crucial for Real Estate Advancement

Manama: Basim bin Yaqoub Al Hamer, President of the Survey and Land Registration Bureau (SLRB), emphasised that Cityscape Bahrain 2025 represents an important milestone in advancing Bahrain's real estate sector, offering a leading platform to showcase innovative and diversified development projects that reflect the evolution of urban planning and land management.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Hamer noted the exhibition's continued qualitative growth, which has positioned it as a key venue for presenting integrated real estate trends and solutions that enhance land-use efficiency and support sustainable urban development. This statement came on the sidelines of the SLRB's participation in Cityscape Bahrain 2025, held at Exhibition World Bahrain (EWB) from November 25-29, with broad participation from regional and international real estate leaders and experts.

Al Hamer noted that Cityscape Bahrain 2025 provides a valuable opportunity for dialogue, knowledge exchange, and review of global best practices in property and land management. He highlighted the SLRB's participation in the accompanying conference through three working papers and a panel discussion covering key themes, including land management, support for real estate investment, and the use of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to monitor urban change, contributing to more efficient urban planning and alignment with sustainable development goals.

Al Hamer said that the SLRB's exhibition pavilion will showcase a range of digital services designed for the real estate sector, most notably the Taa'kud service, which enables real-time verification of property information, as well as property title issuance services and an interactive screen presenting updated real estate transaction data, providing investors and developers with a comprehensive view of market activity.

The SLRB will also highlight several innovative geospatial and digital mapping projects, including the Bahrain Street View project, which offers virtual navigation of Bahrain's streets and landmarks, the National Geospatial Platform that consolidates spatial data for government projects, and the Tides System, which provides real-time tide and sea-level information to support research and navigation.

Additionally, Al Hamer emphasised that the SLRB's participation in Cityscape Bahrain 2025 reflects its commitment to developing accurate and reliable data systems, accelerating the digital transformation of the real estate sector, and supporting sustainable urban development in line with the Bahrain Economic Vision 2030.
