SIU Chief Meets with UNDP Resident Representative in Bahrain

Manama: Mohammed Khalid Al Hazza, Acting Attorney General and Chief of the Special Investigation Unit (SIU), recently welcomed Asmaa Shalabi, the newly appointed Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to Bahrain.

According to Bahrain News Agency, during their meeting, both parties discussed various training programs, activities, and projects that are being executed under the cooperation agreement between the SIU and the UNDP. These initiatives are aimed at enhancing the SIU's ability to conduct its responsibilities in alignment with international standards.

The discussions also highlighted the significance of international collaboration and the exchange of knowledge. Both Al Hazza and Shalabi reiterated the importance of continuing to strengthen joint efforts to ensure justice, uphold human rights, and promote development within the region.
