Shura, Representatives Councils Condemn Israeli Statements Against Saudi Arabia: Violation of International Laws

Manama: The Shura and Representatives councils have strongly condemned recent Israeli statements concerning the establishment of a Palestinian state on the territory of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The councils criticized the statements, labeling them as offensive, irresponsible, and in violation of international laws and the United Nations Charter.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the councils expressed full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and affirmed their support for all measures aimed at safeguarding its security, stability, and sovereignty. They reiterated Bahrain's firm stance on the Palestinian cause, emphasizing the Palestinian people's right to establish an independent, sovereign state and to remain on their land.

The councils stressed that achieving comprehensive peace in the region requires adherence to international resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative to foster stability and coexistence. They referenced the "Bahrain Declaration" issued at the 33rd Arab Summit in Bahrain last May, which called for irreversible steps towards implementing the two-state solution consistent with international legitimacy.
