Cairo: Dr. Ibtisam Mohamed Saleh Al Dallal, a member of the Shura Council, took part in the Committee on Economic Affairs and Finance meeting during the third plenary session of the first legislative term of the Arab Parliament in Cairo. Dr. Al Dallal emphasized Bahrain's shift from the Fiscal Balance Programme to financial sustainability, aligning with His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's Economic Vision 2030. She underscored the Kingdom's commitment to Arab economic integration and regional stability.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the committee examined an Arab strategy to bolster blue economy initiatives in partnership with the Arab Parliament and Cairo University. Key discussions revolved around the governance of marine and oceanic resources and the development of a parliamentary document to support related legislation across Arab nations.
The committee also assessed reports on strengthening economic relations with specialized organizations and made preparations for the second Arab Forum on economic integration.
