The Shura Council praised the great national efforts made by The National Medical Taskforce for Combating the Coronavirus (COVID-19), and the issued procedures and directives to address the pandemic, which reflect a thoughtful view of the current situation and will contribute in the Kingdom’s recovery.
The Council expressed its confidence in the decisions of the national medical taskforce to deal with the coronavirus, in implementation of the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, regarding taking all necessary to preserve the safety of citizens and residents, along with the continuous and direct follow-up from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The Council appreciated for the professional performance shown by medical workers, especially the front liners, stressing the importance of cooperation between authorities to implement the necessary measures to limit the spread of the virus, and to preserve and support the economic sectors, calling on citizens and residents to adhere to the directives of the national medical taskforce as it is everyone’s responsibility.
The Council appreciated the national medical taskforce’s transparency in informing citizens of all reports, data and information related to the latest developments about the coronavirus status in Bahrain, praising the media campaigns and press conferences conducted by the team in order to spread awareness and bring Bahrain to a safe and stable stage.
