Manama: The General Secretariat of the Shura Council received a delegation from the UAE Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs. The visit, organised in coordination with Bahrain's Ministry of Shura and Representatives Council Affairs, aimed to explore Bahrain's legislative authority and the Shura Council's role in the Kingdom's development. According to Bahrain News Agency, the visiting delegation was briefed on the constitutional and legal frameworks governing Bahrain's legislative authority. The briefing included an explanation of the Shura Council's role, functions, and mechanisms of cooperation between the Shura and Representatives Councils, as well as between the legislative and executive authorities.
