First Deputy Chairman of the Shura Council, Jamal Mohammed Fakhro, today received the Sri Lankan Ambassador to Bahrain, Pradeepa Saram.
Fakhro lauded the advanced level reached by the relations between the two countries and their friendly peoples, in light of their shared interest in bolstering them at various fields.
He highlighted the keenness of the two countries’ parliamentary delegations to cooperate and coordinate at international gatherings in order to serve common goals and interests.
Ambassador Pradeepa Saram expressed thanks to Jamal Fakhro for the Shura Council’s support for the solid relations between the two friendly countries and their peoples.
She also lauded the interest and care enjoyed by the Sri Lankan expatriate community in Bahrain.
