Manama: Jamal Mohammed Fakhro, First Deputy Chairman of the Shura Council, affirmed that the address delivered by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa came at an extremely sensitive and critical time, presenting all members of society with a clear and direct picture of the current phase and the difficult and complex challenges it involves.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Fakhro stated that the royal address must not be understood as only a description, but carries deep substance and direct messages addressed to society as a whole, reflecting firm resolve and decisive determination to protect the nation and safeguard its achievements.
Fakhro emphasized that His Majesty's remarks clearly defined the boundaries of national responsibility and set out what is expected of every individual, stressing that the current stage does not allow for hesitation or ambiguity in positions.
He noted that the address included a clear warning against complacency or being drawn into miscalculated positions, particularly regarding external affiliations or any conduct that constitutes treason or damages national interests.
He added that His Majesty's emphasis on vigilance and adherence to the principles of national belonging represents a key foundation for strengthening internal cohesion, sending a clear message that protecting the nation is a shared responsibility that does not allow compromise or division. He stressed that the seriousness of the current stage requires all to act with responsibility and discipline, and to avoid being misled by slogans or practices that conceal agendas that undermine the country's security and stability.
Fakhro also mentioned that the legislative authority will continue its firm approach of constructive cooperation with the government to serve the Kingdom's interests, enhance its standing, strengthen Bahrain's ability to confront challenges, and preserve its development achievements under the leadership of His Majesty the King, which places the nation's interests above all else and reinforces the values of loyalty, national belonging, and responsible national action.
