Manama: Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, participated in the Bahrain Media and Volunteering Forum, an event organized by the Bahrain Voluntary Work Society from June 13 to 15. During the forum, he praised the efforts of the Bahrain Defence Force, the National Guard, and the Ministry of Interior in countering Iranian threats and ensuring the security and stability of the Kingdom of Bahrain. He credited their actions with protecting citizens and preserving national achievements under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, with support from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Chairman Al Saleh condemned the Iranian attacks aimed at Bahrain, the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. He reiterated Bahrain's dedication to peace, coexistence, and dialogue, emphasizing its longstanding policy of fostering mutual respect and constructive international relations.
At the forum, Al Saleh signed a document expressing loyalty and support to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and attended a ceremony honoring frontline personnel for their efforts in responding to the Iranian attacks against Bahrain.
The Chairman also explored a photography exhibition showcasing historical images by artist Ibrahim Bado, praising its documentary and historical significance. He recognized the Bahrain Voluntary Work Society's ongoing efforts in organizing events that raise community awareness and stimulate discussions on various issues.
Al Saleh emphasized the importance of the forum's focus on volunteering and media, noting the developments in the media and journalism sectors. He highlighted volunteering as a vital social value that embodies cooperation and solidarity within society. He expressed optimism that the forum's recommendations would advance volunteerism and its humanitarian and social aspects while enhancing the role of national media in supporting Bahrain's development.
