Rabat: Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, held a meeting with Abdelwahab Abdelrazek, Speaker of the Egyptian Senate, during the South-South Parliamentary Dialogue Forum in Rabat. The discussions centered around the historical and strategic ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Arab Republic of Egypt, championed by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh emphasized the expanding cooperation between the two nations in areas such as education, health, economy, culture, and trade. He reiterated Bahrain's commitment to strengthening parliamentary ties with the Egyptian Senate. Furthermore, he praised Egypt's significant role in supporting Arab causes, particularly the Palestinian issue.
Abdelwahab Abdelrazek highlighted the continued growth of relations between Bahrain and Egypt, which are rooted in mutual respect and long-standing connections. He stressed the importance of enhancing parliamentary cooperation to bolster legislative development and deepen bilateral partnerships.
The meeting was attended by Ijlal Isa Bubshait, Hisham Hashem Al Qassab, and Kareema Mohamed Al Abbasi, Secretary General of the Shura Council.
