Shura Council Chairman: Bahraini Women’s Day Highlights Women’s Achievements to National Progress.

Manama: Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, underscored that the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has been instrumental in advancing Bahraini women, resulting in significant achievements, sustainable development, and an inspiring success story. He highlighted the role of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in advancing women's development by incorporating their needs into various initiatives and programs and strengthening the Supreme Council for Women's (SCW) position as a strategic partner in national and societal development plans. According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Saleh commended Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of His Majesty the King and President of the SCW, for her dedication to advancing national objectives for women and promoting their active involvement across all sectors. He congratulated all Bahraini women on this national occasion. He emphasized the importance of celebrating Bahraini Women's Day alongside the silver jubilee of HM the King's accession to the throne, describing it as a significant opportunity to showcase Bahrain's advancements in various sectors and to highlight the contributions of men and women to the nation's development. Al Saleh highlighted the SCW's efforts, particularly its institutional approach to empowering women, fostering regional and international partnerships, and collaborating with legislative and executive authorities to achieve national goals and support women's aspirations. He underscored the Shura Council's commitment to promoting women's development, commending the dedication of "Team Bahrain." He also commended Bahraini women's achievements across various domains, underscoring their role in representing the nation with distinction both locally and internationally.
