Manama: Dr. Ali bin Mohammed Al Rumaihi, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs, Defence and National Security Committee at the Shura Council, received Jiang Li, Counsellor and Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of the People's Republic of China to Bahrain. Dr. Al Rumaihi commended the deep-rooted ties between Bahrain and China and the steady growth and development of bilateral relations across various domains.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting reviewed the importance of building on the cooperation achieved in recent years. The two sides underscored the need to explore new prospects to further strengthen bilateral ties, particularly in the political, economic, commercial, and cultural fields.
Counsellor Li expressed his appreciation for the solid relations between Bahrain and China. He commended the Shura Council's role in supporting bilateral cooperation and affirmed the Embassy's keenness to enhance communication and coordination with various institutions across the Kingdom.
