Chairman of the Shura Council, Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, will participate in the emergency session of the Arab Inter-parliamentary Union (AIPU), set to be held on Wednesday via video conference.
Called for by AIPU President and UAE Federal National Council Speaker, Saqr Ghobash, the virtual session will discuss the situation at the Aqsa mosque and take a unified Arab parliamentary stance in support of the brotherly Palestinian people.
Speakers of Arab countries’ legislative councils and parliaments, in addition to the Arab League Secretary-General, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, will take part in the virtual emergency AIPU session.
