Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh received Speaker of Yemen’s House of Representatives, Sheikh Sultan Al-Burkani, and his accompanying delegation, on the sidelines of their participation in the 146th session of the Inter-Parliamentary Union(IPU) General Assembly being held in the Kingdom of Bahrain from March 11 to 15.
The Shura Council Chairman praised keenness of the Yemeni House of Representatives to participate in the biggest parliamentary gathering, stressing that the active presence in parliamentary dialogues reflects keenness to support the development efforts.
Al-Burkani expressed gratitude to the Kingdom of Bahrain for its tireless efforts to ensure success of the IPU meetings.
