Shura Chairman Meets Philippine Ambassador to Discuss Bilateral Cooperation

Manama: Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, received Gines Jaime Ricardo D. Gallaga, Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines to the Kingdom of Bahrain. Al Saleh emphasized the enduring relations between the two nations and noted ongoing improvements in cooperation across multiple sectors.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Saleh expressed his hopes for the ambassador's success in his role and reiterated Bahrain's dedication to fostering collaboration and establishing further partnerships, particularly in trade and tourism. He also mentioned the Shura Council's intention to strengthen parliamentary cooperation with the Philippine Parliament, aiming to share expertise in legislative processes to support mutual interests.

Ambassador Gallaga expressed his pride in representing the Philippines in Bahrain, acknowledging the Kingdom's security, stability, and harmonious coexistence. He praised Bahrain's progress under its leadership and expressed his commitment to enhancing relations and expanding cooperation between the Philippines and Bahrain.
