Manama: Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, met with Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Shaikh, Chairman of the Saudi Shura Council, on the sidelines of the 7th Arab Parliament Conference. The meeting focused on parliamentary cooperation and regional coordination.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Saleh emphasized the strong historical and fraternal ties between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. He acknowledged the collaboration between the two kingdoms, facilitated by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia.
Al Saleh congratulated the Saudi Shura Council Chairman on Saudi Arabia's Founding Day and noted the ongoing parliamentary engagement between both councils in advancing shared regional interests. Dr. Al Shaikh, on his part, reaffirmed the deep ties between the two kingdoms and commended Bahrain's election as President of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly, highlighting its active role in parliamentary diplomacy.
