Manama: Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, congratulated Nabeel Khaled Kanoo, the newly appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), on the occasion of his election as Chairman for the 31st session during the board's first meeting. He wished him and the board members success in performing their national duties and responsibilities, continuing the efforts to build upon the notable achievements and successes realized throughout the Chamber's 85-year history.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Saleh affirmed that the confidence placed in Kanoo to assume the presidency of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) reflects the high regard in which he is held by the Kingdom's business community. He highlighted Kanoo's vast economic expertise and his role in advancing national development and private sector competitiveness.
The chairman expressed the Council's keenness to continue cooperation and coordination with the BCCI. He highlighted that this partnership contributes to supporting the framework of economic and financial legislation, solidifying the partnership between the Council and the commercial sector, and enhancing the paths of development witnessed by the Kingdom under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
