Manama: Bahraini daily newspapers today focused on local events that happened over the past 24 hours. The Bahraini Defence Force (BDF) has reported that its air defences intercepted and destroyed 13 drones in the last 24 hours. This is part of a larger effort by the Bahrain Defence Force General Command, which has successfully intercepted a total of 188 missiles and 466 drones since the beginning of Iranian attacks.
According to Bahrain News Agency, BAPCO Energies has issued a statement regarding the Iranian drone attack, acknowledging the situation. The Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC) confirmed that several of its operational units were struck by Iranian drones. However, it assured the public that there were no casualties and that the situation is currently under control.

In international developments, a high-level session of the UN Security Council, chaired by Bahrain's Foreign Minister, adopted a statement affirming the Gulf Cooperation Council's (GCC) significant role in maintaining international security.
