Manama: Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, commended the efforts of the Ministry of Interior and security authorities following the uncovering of a group linked to Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and the ideology of Wilayat al-Faqih, and the arrest of 41 individuals linked to the group.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Saleh said the operation reflected the vigilance and professionalism of Bahrain's security authorities in safeguarding the security and stability of the Kingdom of Bahrain, particularly under the current circumstances and the recent Iranian attacks.
He also expressed the Shura Council's support for the measures undertaken by the Ministry of Interior to protect society from unlawful activities and foreign agendas, stressing that the measures target individuals involved in activities that violate the law and do not target any particular segment of society.
