Shaikha Jawaher bint Abdullah Inaugurates Art Exhibition Under Patronage of Princess Sabeeka

Manama: Her Highness Shaikha Jawaher bint Abdullah bin Isa Al Khalifa, Consort of His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, attended the inauguration of an art exhibition organised by the Children and Mothers Welfare Society. The event, presented in collaboration with Bahrain Gallery, was held to commemorate Bahraini Women's Day and took place under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the exhibition, which runs until December 3, showcases the work of Bahraini female artists, celebrating their individuality, creative expression, and innovative perspectives. The event aligns with the 2025 Bahraini Women's Day theme, "Bahraini Women: Distinction, Creativity, Innovation," and highlights the accomplishments and artistic talents of Bahraini women.

Her Highness Shaikha Jawaher bint Abdullah expressed appreciation for the support from Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim, emphasizing the pioneering role of women in Bahraini society. She noted that such events reflect the contributions of Bahraini women to the Kingdom's cultural and artistic landscape and expressed pride in the high standard of artwork displayed.

Shaikha Jawaher affirmed that the vibrant artistic movement in Bahrain today is indicative of the Kingdom's support for women, culture, and the arts. She remarked that Bahrain serves as an incubator for female talent and creativity, integral to the Kingdom's artistic identity. She added that Bahraini Women's Day is an important occasion to showcase the achievements of Bahraini women, highlighting their role across creative fields.

Shaikha Hind bint Salman Al Khalifa, President of the Children and Mothers Welfare Society, noted that Bahraini Women's Day is a valued national occasion, celebrating women's achievements under the support of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, a leading advocate for women's empowerment.

Shaikha Hind expressed the Society's pleasure in collaborating with Bahrain Gallery to host an exhibition embodying creativity and innovation among Bahraini women. She emphasized that the exhibition is a vibrant canvas expressing the intellectual and aesthetic vision of Bahraini women, blending heritage with contemporary visions while remaining rooted in Bahrain's identity.
