Manama: Shaikh Salman bin Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Vice Chairman of the Higher Urban Planning Committee, congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), on Bahraini Women's Day, themed this year as "Women: A Worthy Partner in Nation-Building." According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Salman bin Abdullah emphasized that the progress achieved by Bahraini women in all domains is the result of the royal patronage of HM the King and the integration of women's developmental needs into the government's plans, led by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. This progress is further supported by the implementation of the SCW's National Plan for the Advancement of Bahraini Women, under the leadership of HRH Princess Sabeeka. Shaikh Salman bin Abdull ah highlighted the role of Bahraini women in driving sustainable national development in alignment with the goals of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), noting that the SCW serves as a global model for empowering women, fostering their leadership, and ensuring their continued role as key partners.
