Manama:His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, praised the national themes presented in the Royal Address by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa during the inauguration of the fifth session of the sixth legislative term of the Shura Council and the Council of Representatives.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad highlighted that the Royal Address serves as a national roadmap for continued development and progress, showcasing the King's dedication to strengthening national achievements and elevating Bahrain's status across multiple sectors.
Shaikh Khalid emphasized that the vision and goals in the Royal Address exemplify the King's strategy for comprehensive development, rooted in the Kingdom's enduring national principles and values. He attributed Bahrain's security, stability, and development successes to the King's leadership and the strong connections of loyalty and unity between the leadership and the citizens.
Furthermore, Shaikh Khalid expressed pride in the King's decision to declare the upcoming year as the "Year of Isa bin Salman," honoring the late His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa. This initiative reflects the values of loyalty and gratitude towards a historic leader who played a crucial role in shaping Bahrain's modern history.
