Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Represents Bahrain at Omani Embassy National Day Reception


Manama: On behalf of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Deputy Prime Minister, attended a reception hosted by the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Bahrain. The event was organized to celebrate Oman’s National Day.



According to Bahrain News Agency, upon arrival, Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah was welcomed by Faisal bin Hareb Al Busaidi, Ambassador of Oman to Bahrain. During the event, Shaikh Khalid conveyed the congratulations of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman, along with greetings to His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Oman’s Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers, and the Omani people.



Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah emphasized the long-standing relations between Bahrain and Oman, which have been nurtured under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq. He recalled the historic visits exchanged by the leaders, which have significantly enhanced joint cooperation. He also emphasized the commitment of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister to further advancing bilateral relations.



Moreover, Shaikh Khalid highlighted the growing economic and investment collaboration between the two nations, citing the establishment of the Oman-Bahrain Investment Company as a significant milestone in economic integration. He noted both countries’ dedication to regional security and stability, commending Oman for its role in promoting dialogue and diplomacy.



The Deputy Prime Minister also welcomed Oman’s participation in the upcoming 46th GCC Summit, which will be hosted by Bahrain. He remarked that this participation is essential for strengthening regional cooperation and supporting development, security, and economic priorities.



Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah and Ambassador Al Busaidi expressed appreciation for the efforts of both countries’ ambassadors in fostering bilateral cooperation and enhancing collaborative efforts.
