Southern Governor, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, today chaired the seventh meeting of the Coordination Council, held remotely.
Deputy Southern Governor Brigadier Isa Thamer Al-Dosari, and members participated in the virtual meeting.
HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali affirmed his follow-up in the needs of the local citizens across various development fields, in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, stressing the Southern Governorate’s keenness to achieve the aspirations of the local citizens by providing them with integrated services.
Commenting on a presentation about the progress of the infrastructure and sanitation projects in the Southern Governorate, presented by the representative of the Works Ministry, HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali asserted that all the citizens’ remarks are submitted to the relevant authorities to discuss them and take the necessary procedures regarding them.
He added that all service projects are implemented according to the best quality levels so as to meet the needs of the citizens and residents, and contribute to achieving the goals of the comprehensive development process in the kingdom.
The governor and the participants were also updated about the efforts of the Industry and Commerce Ministry to monitor the work of industrial and commercial facilities across the Southern Governorate through field visits to ensure that they meet the security and safety requirements.
The meeting then reviewed the constant efforts of the Southern Governorate to follow up on the service needs of the citizens. In this regard, the participants discussed the results of the field visits to Khalifa Town, Al-Buhair, Al-Hajjiyat and Zallaq, to collect first-hand information about the progress of the ongoing projects and assess the quality of services there.
HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali indicated that highlighting the reality of the services provided, including the establishment and development of vital facilities and facilities that provide the most important services to the citizens, is the core of the Southern Governorate’s main work, which is based on following up on the development plans implemented by the concerned authorities to reflect positively on the urban growth currently witnessed by all regions.
The participants expressed their thanks and appreciation to HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa for the Southern Governorate’s endeavours to communicate with the citizens, confirming the role of community partnership and coordination among the relevant authorities in achieving the aspirations of the citizens of various regions.
