Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), Hala Al-Ansari, today received the Bangladeshi Ambassador to Bahrain, Dr. Mohammed Nazrul Islam.
They discussed how Bangladesh can benefit from Bahrain’s advanced experience in various women-related fields and issues.
Al-Ansari highlighted aspects of the Bahraini model in supporting women which enjoys international interest and respect, based on the kingdom’s landmark achievements in various women issues over the past two decades.
In this regard, she cited Bahraini women’s active participation in various development fields, and the keenness of all public and private institutions in the kingdom to provide the necessary support for women.
The ambassador expressed admiration for Bahrain’s efforts to ensure the contribution of women to all development fields, highlighting the prestigious international reputation enjoyed by the kingdom as an advocate of women issues at the global level.
