Manama: Lulwa Saleh Al Awadhi, Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), and Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa Al Khalifa, Director General of the Institute of Public Administration (IPA), have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to strengthen institutional cooperation.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the MoU focuses on delivering specialised training programmes that align with the Council's objectives of promoting gender balance, integrating women into various sectors, and ensuring equal opportunities. The partnership extends to collaboration in leadership development, sharing of data, joint research projects, consulting services, and the organisation of awareness events. It also aims to support the National Plan for the Advancement of Bahraini Women (2025 - 2026).
A joint working team has been established to oversee the MoU's implementation, evaluate its outcomes, and submit annual progress reports to ensure the objectives are met effectively.
