Supreme Council for Health (SCH)’s President Lieutenant-General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa received French Ambassador Jérôme Cauchard.
The meeting discussed cooperation in health fields, and reviewed the agreement to train doctors.
The SCH President praised the distinguished Bahraini-French relations and stressed the Kingdom’s keenness to strengthen cooperation especially in the health field.
He briefed the ambassador on SCH’s role in developing and implementing the national health plan, including the National Health Insurance Program.
The ambassador expressed his appreciation for the distinguished relations and praised the SCH’s role in developing the health care sector in Bahrain.
He stressed the readiness of his country to develop health cooperation.
