Manama, Supreme Council for Health (SCH) President Lieutenant-General Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa stressed the crucial role of civil society institutions in promoting health awareness and encouraging healthy lifestyles.
He made the statement as he received a delegation representing the Islamc Society Chairman Dr. Abdullatif Al Mahmoud, director general Ahmed Al Mahmoud, Friends of Health Society Chairpersons Dr. Kawther Al Eid and member nurse Amal Ahmed.
The delegations expressed thanks and gratitude to Lt.Gen. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa for patronizing an event which was held at Al Seef Mall in Arad, on the occasion of the World Elderly Day, celebrated this year under the theme “Digital Equity for All Ages”.
Lt.Gen. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa commended the efforts exerted by societies which organized the awareness-enhancing event, which yielded positive results.
