Supreme Council for Health (SCH) President, Head of the the National Medical Taskforce for Combating the Coronavirus (COVID-19), Lieutenant-General Dr Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa congratulated Consultant of Infectious and Internal Diseases at Salmaniya Medical Complex and member of the National Medical Taskforce for Combating the Coronavirus (COVID-19), Dr. Jameela Al Salman, on receiving the Arab Woman Medical Excellence Award 2020 by the Arab League General-Secretariat.
He lauded His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s royal directives, supported by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
He paid tribute to Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and Supreme Council for Women (SCW) President, hailing her key role in empowering women and enhancing their status.
He praised medical frontliners describing their efforts to protect people as a torch of light in the development march led by HM the King, supported by HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
