Saudi arabia: The Saudi Ministry of Health has advised pilgrims to remain inside their camps and avoid going outdoors until 4 PM on the Day of Arafah. This precautionary measure aims to prevent direct exposure to sunlight and extreme heat, thereby reducing the risk of heat exhaustion and sunstroke.
According to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the ministry emphasized the importance of adhering to designated pilgrims' dispatching schedules, using umbrellas regularly, and drinking plenty of water and fluids to maintain hydration.
The ministry also highlighted the need to avoid climbing hills and ensure adequate rest during the rituals. These measures are intended to help pilgrims reduce the risk of heat-related illnesses and perform their rituals in good health and peace of mind.
