Riyadh: Major General Turki Al Maliki, Official Spokesperson for the Ministry of Defence of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, stated that nine drones were intercepted and destroyed immediately upon entering the Kingdom's airspace, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
According to Bahrain News Agency, the interception and destruction of the drones were carried out by the Saudi Defence Ministry's air defence units. The operation was conducted swiftly to ensure that the drones did not pose any threat to the security and safety of the Kingdom's airspace.
Major General Al Maliki emphasized the readiness and vigilance of the air defence units in protecting the Kingdom's airspace from any potential threats.
