Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a telephone call from His Excellency Dr Mohamed Muizzu, President of the Republic of Maldives.
According to Bahrain News Agency, President Muizzu expressed his country's full solidarity with the Kingdom of Bahrain, and its rejection and condemnation of the Iranian attacks that targeted the Kingdom's territories. He affirmed Maldives' support for all measures taken by the Kingdom of Bahrain to safeguard its sovereignty and protect its security and stability.
His Majesty the King affirmed that the people of the Kingdom of Bahrain are peaceful, believing in tolerance and coexistence, and that the Kingdom's approach is to adhere to the path of peace and support everything that enhances security and stability in the region and the world.
His Majesty also expressed his sincere gratitude and appreciation for the support of the Republic of Maldives and the genuine solidarity expressed by President Muizzu.
