Saudi Arabia to Resume Lebanese Exports Following Positive Developments

Riyadh: His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, announced the resumption of Lebanese exports to Saudi Arabia following a telephone call with Nawaf Salam, Prime Minister of the Lebanese Republic. This development follows a directive from His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia. According to Bahrain News Agency, the decision to resume exports comes after positive steps were taken by the Lebanese government towards rebuilding its state institutions. The achievements made by specialized teams over the past year, along with demonstrated cooperation and commitments from Lebanon, were key factors in this decision. HH Prince Faisal bin Farhan emphasized Saudi Arabia's support for Lebanon's stability and sovereignty, underscoring the importance of Lebanon's commitment to ensuring its territory is not used as a platform to harm neighboring countries. He reaffirmed Sa udi Arabia's dedication to the wellbeing of the Lebanese people as part of this renewed economic engagement.
