Manama: Saar Club emerged victorious in the Khalid bin Hamad Golden Generation Table Tennis League for juniors for the 2025-2026 sports season, defeating Maqaba Club 3-1 in the final match. The event took place under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee. According to Bahrain News Agency, the final match was attended by prominent figures including Dr. Abdulrahman Sadiq Askar, Chief Executive Officer of the General Sports Authority; Shaikha Hayat bint Abdulaziz Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Table Tennis Association; Dana Mohammed Mudhafar, Deputy Chief Executive Officer for Facilities and Projects; and Lubna Alwazzan, Director of Human Resources and Finance, along with other GSA board members and officials. Saar Club retained their title for the second consecutive year, completing an unbeaten season. The matc h saw Nasser Al Alawi secure a 3-0 victory over Hashim Al Banna, followed by Ahmed Al Banna of Maqaba Club leveling the score by defeating Hassan Ibrahim. Saar Club's Moamen Jafar and Nasser Al Alawi then clinched the title by winning their matches against Yusuf Al Banna and Ahmed Al Banna with scores of 3-0 and 3-2, respectively. At the end of the competition, Shaikha Hayat bint Abdulaziz Al Khalifa and Dana Mohammed Mudhafar awarded the gold medals to Saar Club, silver medals to Maqaba Club, and bronze medals to Bahrain Club.
