Riyadh: Major General Turki Al Maliki, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Defence of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, announced that Saudi air defence forces intercepted and destroyed four drones in the Empty Quarter that were heading toward the Shaybah field, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported. Major General Turki Al Maliki also said that air defence systems intercepted and destroyed a ballistic missile launched toward Prince Sultan Air Base.
