Saudi Arabia Clinches Gulf Cup 27 Title

Jeddah:Saudi Arabia: Hosts Saudi Arabia emerged victorious in the 27th Arabian Gulf Cup, defeating the United Arab Emirates 2-0 and ending a 22-year title drought.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Saudi Arabia, playing at King Abdullah Sports City, received robust support from home fans. The team took an early lead with Hammam Al Hammami scoring in the 11th minute through a deflected shot.

Feras Al Brikan quickly extended the lead two minutes later with a goal from inside the penalty area. Saudi Arabia preserved their lead throughout the second half, securing their first Gulf Cup title since 2004.
