The Russian Federal Security Service announced today, Monday, that it had thwarted an armed attack in Novotroitsk, in the Russian province of Orenburg.
The Russian Agency "Sputnik" quoted the Federal Security Service as saying: "A terrorist attack was thwarted in Novotroitsk in the Orenburg province, and a Russian citizen was arrested who, on foreign instructions, was preparing to set fire to the railway station and the building of the military registration and enlistment office. "
The Russian security service reported that components for a bomb were found in his possession.
The Russian Federal Security Service had previously thwarted an attack targeting the director of the police department in the town of Kirillovka, Zaporizhia province.
