Moscow: Sergey Lavrov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, held a telephone call with Ronald Lamola, Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of South Africa, to discuss strengthening political dialogue and expanding trade and economic cooperation between the two countries. Both sides emphasised their commitment to enhancing coordination on international issues.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Lavrov also congratulated his South African counterpart on the successful G20 Summit hosted in Johannesburg, the first to be held in an African country since 2010.
