Royal Order Promotes Bahrain Defence Force Officers and Awards Medals on 58th Anniversary

Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, has issued a Royal Order to promote 623 officers of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) from various military ranks in celebration of the 58th anniversary of the BDF's establishment.

According to Bahrain News Agency, His Majesty also issued a High Royal Order to award medals to 168 officers and 680 non-commissioned officers and personnel in recognition of their service. On this occasion, Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the Commander-in-Chief of the BDF, conveyed the congratulations of His Majesty the King and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister to the promoted officers and medal recipients. They extended their best wishes for continued success in serving the nation.

Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed also announced the promotion of 3,411 non-commissioned officers, personnel, and civilians of various ranks and grades within the BDF, coinciding with the anniversary celebrations. Furthermore, decorations were awarded to 185 officers and 1,141 non-commissioned officers and personnel to acknowledge their efforts.

The Commander-in-Chief expressed his hope that these promotions and decorations would motivate further dedication to the national duty among the officers, personnel, and civilians.
