Royal Humanitarian Foundation Opens Sovereign Art Award Exhibition

Manama: Under the patronage of Shaikh Rashid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Chairman of the National Arts Council and Honorary President of the Bahrain Arts Society, the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) in cooperation with the Sovereign Art Foundation, opened the charitable art exhibition held alongside the fifth edition of the Sovereign Art Foundation Awards at Marassi Galleria in Diyar Al Muharraq. The exhibition showcases over 200 artworks by students from schools and universities. Proceeds will support RHF's educational and health projects. The exhibition runs until April 26th and is open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., with scheduled school visits.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Rashid bin Khalifa commended the initiative's role in nurturing young talent and combining artistic and humanitarian values. Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Secretary General of the RHF, expressed gratitude to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for His Majesty's continuous support of RHF's beneficiaries. He also commended the government's support, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

He highlighted the leadership of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, in advancing RHF's mission and supporting the award. He further commended Shaikh Rashid bin Khalifa for his role in supporting artistic talent and for patronising the exhibition. Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa highlighted that the exhibition reflects RHF's commitment to promoting social responsibility through art and encouraging youth engagement in humanitarian work.
